Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you browse it. They are used to make the site work correctly, remember preferences, or analyse usage.
2. Cookies we use
Most of what we set is strictly necessary for the service to function, and requires no prior consent. Browsing the site and running a free public search sets no cookies at all. The one exception is analytics, which is off until you accept it in the cookie banner and can be switched off again at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-<project>-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps you signed in (may be split across numbered chunks). | 1 year, refreshed on use |
| sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | One-time PKCE value used while completing a sign-in. | Minutes |
| __stripe_mid / __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during the payment process. | 1 year / session |
| rff_consent | RecentFollowFinder | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. | 6 months |
| _ga / _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Only set if you accept. Anonymous usage statistics: which pages are visited and which steps people complete. The account you searched for is never sent. | 13 months |
3. Third-party cookies
Stripe cookies are set by Stripe to prevent fraud in transactions. You can review the third-party policies here:
4. Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used — nothing more. It is disabled by default: no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie is written until you accept it in the banner. Rejecting is one click, in the same place, and costs you nothing: every feature works identically either way.
What we never send: the Instagram account you searched for, your email address, your Instagram username, or your account balance. Search measurement records only the outcome — found, private, not found, an error — and never its subject. Our commitment not to log your searches is unaffected by this policy.
When you buy coins, the resulting sale is reported from our servers so the purchase can be linked to the visit that produced it. This too only happens if you accepted analytics; if you did not, the sale is simply not measured.
We use no advertising cookies, and Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled on our property. Google may process this data outside the EU under the standard contractual clauses.
5. Withdrawing consent, settings and blocking
You can change your mind at any time from Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Withdrawing deletes the analytics cookies from your browser and stops any further measurement — it is exactly as easy as accepting was, and just as immediate.
You can also configure, restrict, or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that blocking technical cookies prevents parts of the service from working — you will not be able to sign in, hold a coin balance, or complete a payment. Free public search is unaffected.
6. Modifications
This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the cookies used or in applicable law. The current version is always published on this page.
